POINT REYES NATIONAL SEASHORE
A Quiet refuge within commuting range of the golden gate bridge
Established in 1962 by President John F. Kennedy, Point Reyes National Seashore comprises 71,000 acres in Marin County, California, just an hour north of San Francisco. In any season, Point Reyes is a place for hiking, beach-combing and wildlife viewing. It protects a herd of tule elk and is home to several working dairy ranches.
