JOURNALIST AND ENVIRONMENTAL WRITER
I work as an environmental reporter for EcoWatch, one of the nation's leading environmental news sites, and I am also a regular contributor to Invironment. My byline has appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle, San Jose Mercury News, Newsday, Changing Times and Trains magazines. My writing career started as an automotive journalist for the Ward's family of industry publications, reporting on manufacturers and suppliers as well as consumer, marketing, and government issues.
My latest book, "Maine: Year One - A photographic journal of a Southern Californian's first year in the Pine Tree State," is available on Amazon. Other recent published works include "Waiting for the Sea Ice" (Nature Photographer magazine, Fall/Winter 2015/2016 issue) and "Last Ride of the Maine Eastern" (The Callboy, November 2015).
I am also the author of two ebooks, "How To Tell Your Story in Video" and "5 Steps to More Effective Presentations." I have written more than 100 scripts for corporate video and live productions, and also taught an online course for MediaBistro.com, "Writing Business Proposals and Presentations."
Listen to me talk about one of my EcoWatch stories on AM950, "The Mike McIntee Show."
